In november 2012 werd de derde intercontinentale ontmoeting gehouden van inheemse onderwijzers uit Noord, Midden- en Zuid-Amerika. Leerkrachten uit onder meer Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Chili kwamen bijeen in Tikal, de heilige stad van de Maya in Guatemala.
