LERI Language Friendly Lessons

Language Friendly Lessons are LIVE!

The Rutu Foundation is pleased to announce that our LERI Platform is live

Teachers from the Language Friendly School and voXmi-schools created 13 lessons for you. They created wonderful language friendly subject lessons for you to use within your own classroom! They explained their lesson plans in a recorded interview that was also showcased during a series of LERI webinars. The shorter interviews and the lesson plans are published on the brand new LERI platform. Language Friendly Lessons

The third and final LERI webinar took place on the 13th of June, bringing to a successful close our LERI Webinars Series. During this webinar we showcased:

  1. Art and Language (Synesthesia & Onomatopoeia) by Dagmar Pistrich, Stefanie Wolff, and Birgit Neger
  2. Identity Texts by Karen James
  3. Name Inquiry by Marcie Dunnill
  4. Tongue Twisters by Dagmar Pistrich, Stefanie Wolff, and Birgit Neger
  5. Building a Class Language Policy by Kimberly Finger
  6. Map of Good Memories by Kimberly Finger.

The LERI Webinar series showcased our dynamic teacher’s  lesson plans and videos! In earlier webinars lesson plans on language appreciation, human rights, weather report, traditional meals & technology, physics, and instructional writing were highlighted. They are all  featured on our very own LERI platform which is a web page for teachers to access and use all the language friendly lesson plans and videos from the wonderful teachers from the Language Friendly Schools and voXmi Network!

About LERI

The ERASMUS+ funded project LERI: Peer Learning in Language Friendly Networks is led by the Rutu Foundation in partnership with the University College of Teacher Education of Vienna (PH Wien). It connects the global the Language Friendly School (LFS) Network with the voXmi network of schools in Austria to strengthen cultural and language inclusion in schools through peer learning.

Although this brings the LERI project to a fruitful end, we look forward to finding new ways to highlight our amazing teachers and learn from each other the best ways forward in education.
